Follow the street all the way up to Castle Hill and hike up the Terrace Frederic Nietzsche where the views will take your breath away. Bring a picnic and some wine and chill as the sun sets. Explore Old Town in Nice where there are wonderful shops and markets and you can pick up some local wine or stop at one of the many cafes for a glass. Try Socca, the popular local dish. Cannes is home of the glamorous film festival in May, but it’s glitzy and glam all year round. With designer bars, couture shopping and swank hotels on the Croisette, there’s no shortage of celebrity spotting, Ferraris and mega yachts. In Cannes you definitely should check out Le Suquet the stunning Medieval district of Cannes with fascinating history, traditional culture, cobblestone lanes and glittering views of the city. La Pizza rivals the best pizza in Italy or NYC. It’s impossible to truly describe how magical this place is. Dine on the Marina in Cannes with all the big shots. This is where a lot of business is done. It’s inexpensive but unforgettable. A glass of rosé pairs perfectly. Some other romantic spots to hit while you’re here are the bar at the Hotel Martinez, the Forville Market and the Musee de Castre in the castle above town.

Antibes is often named the cultural heart of Côte d’Azur, and it’s for good reason. Visit the Musee Picasso and take in the exquisite artwork, sculpture terrace and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. As tempting as it is to spend all-day everyday on the beach here, you will definitely want to explore Old Town. The iconic Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc, Cap D’Antibes famously known as the honeymoon place of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, is perched on the stunning rocky cliff of Cap D’Antibes. This resort is the JEWEL of the French Riviera. Set on 22 acres of pristinely landscaped grounds with pines and palm trees, with its famous heated salt-water infinity pool and restaurant – which you may recognize from many of Slim Aarons photo shoots – is indescribable. The rooms are charmingly old-fashioned and have views of the Mediterranean or the manicured gardens. Dining at the resort’s restaurants is pricey but well worth it. There is no beach access, but there are diving boards and an over water trapeze so you can jump right in! If you want to impress your loved one, here is where you’ll achieve that! Cap D’Antibes Beach Hotel is another beautiful 5 star hotel. Once upon a time a Chateau, is smack on the sand, has a beachside infinity pool with views of the super yachts bobbing offshore and is simply exquisite. Rooms are luxurious, all with private balconies and the Michelin-starred restaurant’s food here is insane! Dine at the wonderfully romantic Autour Du Jardin and experience excellent traditional French cuisine.

Here you can relax on the beach, sit in cafes and people watch, enjoy the wonderful fresh produce, cuisine and wine, and shop at the markets. It’s a perfect place to enjoy the French village lifestyle.

Eze is a charming hilltop town on the Côte d’Azur with jaw-dropping views. The cobblestoned streets and bright pink bougainvillea transport you back to medieval times. There are expensive art galleries, gift shops and cafes on every corner. Hotel Cap Estel, Eze Village is fantastic ifyou’re looking for total seclusion. Located on a private peninsula with 18 rooms immaculately decked out with a sea-shell inspired theme. There’s plenty to explore around the property’s beautiful grounds, relax on the private beach, dine at Michelin-starred Le Table or laze by the salt-water infinity pool.
St Paul de Vence:

This legendary provincial village is a perfect day trip away from the coast or a great place to stay. The fairytale beauty of this village will take your breath away. With beautiful views of the hills, small alleyways, town squares with stone fountains and an incredible art scene. You might be inspired to bring a sketch pad.
While you are in St Paul de Vence, book a room where rock stars and cognoscenti stay, or just stop by for lunch or dinner at La Colombe d’or – where you will dine next to paintings by the masters! Sound incredible? Service is phenomenal. Dining at this family run inn nestled in the picturesque countryside will be worth your while. The inn is quiet and rustic and its former guests were the likes of Picasso, Matisse and they have left their legacy here as they traded paintings for a room or a meal. This magical place has a museum worthy art collection of the Masters. The restaurant serves traditional provincial dishes like Chicken Fricassee with cream and morels under lovely exposed beams…and a Matisse sketch or Picasso Painting.
The famous Fondation Maeght, home of an incredible Modern and Contemporary Art collection is most definitely worth a visit. The Fondation also owns the nearby Le Mas Bernard vineyard. Le Mas wines are a rare treat, as you won’t find them sold in many other countries.
St Tropez:

Bridget Bardot put St Tropez on the map in the 50’s and it has been a jet setting international who’s who hot spot ever since. There’s plenty of historic charm to see here or you can laze in the sun poolside and enjoy long leisurely lunches and lots of rosé. You have not been to St Tropez until you’ve spent the day at Le Club 55. This swanky beach club on Pampelonne Beach is an institution. The food is amazing, though pricey and the atmosphere is to die for! Great people watching all day long as you laze on a bed and drink rosé. What better way is there to spend a day?
